How do I make a reservation? Send us an email reservation request, or give us a call! If your dates are available and you're ready to reserve, we accept a 25% deposit of the total cost of your stay to secure your dates.
What methods of payment do you accept? We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Paypal, cash, certified check, money orders, and traveler's checks.
Is there a minimum stay? Typically, there is a 3 night minimum stay. But for some of our Hudson Valley properties, there is only a 2 night minimum, as most people come visit the area on weekends.
How far in advance to I need to book my stay? This depends! Many of our properties book up quickly, so if you really like what you see, try to reserve the time you want before someone else snags it!
Is smoking allowed in your properties? No! We like to keep our homes smoke free. There are spaces just outside with gorgeous views and scenery should you choose to smoke.
What's your cancellation policy? We really try to discourage cancellations, given that the homeowner has made arrangements for your stay and we have invariably turned away other guests in anticipation of your arrival. Therefore, cancellations within 30 days will forfeit the 25% deposit. Cancellations made prior to 30 days before the reserved stay will be refunded their deposit, less a 100$ fee. We know that things do happen unexpectedly that can affect our travel plans. We'll always try to work with you to arrange another date for your stay.
Do you take a security deposit? Many of our properties do require it. 500$ will be reserved, or held, on your credit card as a security deposit but will not be charged to you unless there is significant damage to the home or its contents.
Are pets allowed? For the most part, yes. We love being able to take our furry friends with us when we hit the road, and hope that you'd feel even more comfortable with yours in tow. Check on the property page of the home you're interested in to see if they feature a pet-friendly sign.
Are utilities included? Yes. We hate being nickel and dimed when we travel, and assume you do, too. All utilities are included in the listed rates.
Are taxes included? Right now, taxes are included in our Hudson Valley and New York City home rates. Florida state taxes are an additional 13% on our Orlando based properties.
What time is check in and check out? Generally speaking, check out is at noon, and check in is at 4pm. Like hotels, we need a cleaning staff to do a super thorough cleaning job after guests leave, so we like to leave at least a 4 hour span mid-day for our amazing ladies to come and do their thing. If you need other arrangements, ask us, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
How do I get the keys? This depends on the property. In New York City, often the owner or one of our staff will meet you at the apartment to show you around and exchange keys for the remaining deposit. Sometimes keys can be express-mailed to you. For our other properties, we tend to use lockboxes, so you can retrieve the keys right at the front door using a safe, personal combination that we will give to you.
Where do I return the keys when I leave? This depends on the property. We'll give you all the info you'll need so you know exactly where the keys go when the time comes to move onto your next adventure.
Will you send me directions? Absolutely. We know that this might be a new way for you to enjoy low-cost, high-quality travel, and look forward to making it as simple and easy for you as we can. We're here to help.
